Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Greensboro will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in North Carolina usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 579-9962. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pangaeabistro.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Greensboro is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had an amazing dining experience at Pangaea Bistro & Bar last night. From the moment I walked in, Alex β€” the manager and bartender β€” set the tone with his personable, warm, and welcoming energy. With a mostly plant-based diet, I loved the Watermelon Tataki, Dodo, and the Zucchini Fries. Everything tasted fresh, especially with their house-made sauces and dressings. I also tried the 336 cocktail, and let me tell you β€” for my tequila drinkers, this one is a winner. I’m very bougie about my drinks, especially and this cocktail did not disappoint. It was made with fresh, high‑quality ingredients that you can taste in every sip. As an NC A&T Aggie Alumni, I highly recommend this spot to fellow Aggies looking for a quality, upscale dining experience in Greensboro on Elm Street.

Our first visit and it was absolutely wonderful, made even more special by our waiter Alex. The food is absolutely delicious. We were drawn by the name Pangaea, which describes the world as one big land mass on Earth, and they mix the food of so many cultures together, sometimes in the same dish, but all across the menu, and it is delicious. You can order small plates, A La Carte items or a bundled meal. Can't wait to go back and try more things. Muchisimas Gracias Alex!

This was such a beautiful experience. From the ambiance down to the food. The chefs were exceptional, that food was absolutely amazing, there was not a drop left on my plate, seriously. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. I will be back to go thru the entire menu. I got the 3 course meal for $50, and I didn’t regret a single thing. You won’t regret stopping by!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pangaea isn’t just another restaurant. It’s one of those rare places that reminds you why dining out should be an experience, not just a meal. The staff is knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and makes you feel like you’re the most important table in the restaurant. The menu is incredibly creative without being intimidating. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can tell the chefs truly care about every detail. The cocktails are equally impressive and pair perfectly with the food.In a city full of good restaurants, Pangaea stands in a league of its own. If you’re looking for unforgettable food, exceptional service, and an experience you’ll be talking about long after you leave, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Without question, one of the best restaurants in North Carolina.

Pangea is a wonderful gem located in a prime spot downtown. They have a unique and delicious blend of foods and fusion of flavors, and each dish also includes a suggested wine pairing of their top tier wines. I also ordered a cocktail that the bartender made custom based on the type of liquor that I wanted. We started with an appetizer of yuka balls filled with a warm creamy cheese and topped with a flavorful creamy sauce. We then ordered a three course meal for $55 which is an amazing deal. It included fresh salads or hearty soups; I got the beet and goat cheese salad and my husband got the rainbow carrots with a dressing that was reminiscent of curry. Our main entree was the green curry pork and a wagyu burger that I am going to dream about. Literally the best burger I have ever eaten. For dessert we got an ube cheesecake that was light and fluffy, and guava and cheese empanadas that were crispy, creamy, sweet and savory. My only regret is that we haven’t eaten there sooner. I will definitely be back and I recommend you try this, as it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time!
